Clarify Your Offer and Brand

Project details

Since 2018, we have been collaborating with the Groupe Français d'Étude des Vascularites (GFEV), a medical research association dedicated to systemic vasculitis and vaccine research. Their mission: to promote research, disseminate up-to-date information to healthcare professionals and patients, and increase the visibility of their scientific work.

Bauhem supported GFEV on two complementary fronts: creating their brand identity and developing their web platform.

Brand identity

We designed GFEV's visual identity starting from their reality: a group of medical experts gathered around a shared research topic. The logotype reflects this collective dynamic.

The circular symbol represents the coming together of distinct areas of expertise — each dot of a different size illustrates a unique skill converging toward a shared goal. This diversity is GFEV's strength: researchers, clinicians, and specialists pooling their knowledge to advance the understanding of vasculitis.

The blue-turquoise palette supports a sober, professional direction suited to the medical and scientific field. The whole identity was designed to inspire trust and credibility among the association's various audiences: physicians, researchers, patients, and institutional partners. A clear brand gives weight to communications and makes GFEV easier to recognize within its ecosystem.

Web platform: Webflow + DatoCMS

The GFEV website was developed with Webflow for the frontend and DatoCMS as a headless CMS. This technology stack gives the GFEV team a powerful, flexible platform that is easy to manage day to day.

DatoCMS enables fine-grained content management: scientific articles, research news, publications, study reports, and patient information pages. The team can update the site independently, without technical dependencies — essential for an association that needs to disseminate medical information quickly.

The platform is designed to serve both healthcare professionals — who need precise data and publications — and patients seeking reliable, understandable information about vasculitis.

Technical stack

  • Frontend: Webflow — responsive design, animations, integrated hosting.
  • Headless CMS: DatoCMS — content models, articles, publications, information pages.
  • Brand identity: Logo, palette, typography, visual direction.

Results

  • Brand identity created: logotype, palette, and visual direction — sober and professional.
  • Website launched on Webflow with DatoCMS, autonomously manageable by the team.
  • Scalable platform: architecture designed to easily add content, publications, and new sections.
  • Enhanced credibility: a professional web presence serving medical research and patient information.
