Groupe Industriel AMI | Webflow Site for Industrial Equipment Company
Complete website redesign for Groupe Industriel AMI with Webflow: custom design, animations, bilingual interface and DatoCMS for a 40-year-old industrial equipment company.

SERVICE :
Founded in 1984 by Guy Lépine in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Groupe Industriel AMI today employs over 250 people and has delivered more than 1,000 projects across Quebec and Canada. Specializing in industrial equipment, the company offers fabrication, engineering design, maintenance, project management, specialized staffing, consulting, and collaborative robotics.
Bauhem partnered with AMI for a complete digital overhaul: a new custom design, a high-performance Webflow platform, polished animations, a fully bilingual interface, and a DatoCMS for autonomous content management.
A 40-Year Company, a Website Worthy of Its Story
AMI already had a website built by Bauhem a few years earlier. But the company had grown: new services, new teams, new markets. The site needed to follow this evolution and reflect the true level of an organization that has been delivering complex industrial projects for four decades.
Bauhem's mandate was clear: start from a more modern, more visual, and better-structured foundation. Not a simple cosmetic update but a complete digital experience overhaul, with home, services, team, testimonials, blog, and contact pages that communicate the company's strength.
An Industrial Design That Breathes Confidence
The industrial sector often has websites that look alike: factory photos, technical text, little personality. AMI wanted to stand out. The design had to reflect both the industrial power and the human closeness that characterizes the company.
Bauhem crafted a visual direction that pairs strong heavy-industry imagery with airy layouts, clean typography, and color accents that guide the eye. AMI's signature red — a dynamic hue evoking energy and reliability — structures every page and creates a recognizable identity.
The service pages detail each offering with visuals, feature lists, and a structure that helps visitors quickly grasp the breadth of AMI's capabilities: fabrication, engineering, maintenance, project management, staffing, consulting, and robotics.
Webflow: Performance, Animations, and Bilingualism
The site was built on Webflow, a choice that gives AMI a fast, secure, and easy-to-administer platform. Bauhem pushed Webflow to its limits: scroll animations, page transitions, micro-interactions on service cards, parallax effects, and smooth scrolling.
The animations are not decorative. They guide attention, reveal content progressively, and convey a sense of quality and mastery that matches AMI's industrial image. Each section appears with a deliberate rhythm: visitors discover information without being overwhelmed.
The site is fully bilingual French-English, with smooth switching that preserves navigation state. This is an important requirement for AMI, which recruits and collaborates both in Quebec and in Canada's English-speaking markets.
A Headless CMS for Team Autonomy
Behind the Webflow site, DatoCMS serves as the content management hub. AMI's team can edit texts, add testimonials, publish blog articles, and update service pages without touching code or design.
This separation between content and presentation offers valuable flexibility for a growing company. Pages can evolve, offerings can be updated, and client testimonials can be added as projects are completed.
